#5 - Announcements.

As all of you know that the Hong Kong Trip is cancelled. Please DO explain properly to your parents. Basically, is that we are unable to book the air tickets anymore, because some of our bandsmen are unable to confirm until now. And it will cost us a bomb if we fly there on our own. I hope you guys will understand. And also, REFLECT on what you guys had been doing this past few months. Yes, we may be upset, but we have to move on. Focus on our SYF drill video, followed by our SYF. Let's work hard together, and shall not disappoint Mr Lum, of course ourselves too!

#3 - Announcements.

Bandsmen,
1. Today is the first practice after the exams.
I realised many of you are talking once Mr Lum stops, try not to talk during rehearsal unless you're talking about relavant things.
You can talk all you want after band & during breaks alright.
The leaders don't like to scold you guys, so behave okay? :)

2. Write in the countings & articulations for the rhythm studies. (KAZE NO MAI)
Countings below, articulations on top.
Everyone should hand in by this Friday, 22nd October 2010.
We have no time to waste! Remind your section mates!
In case you've forgotten, the consequence of not handing up:
WRITE A LETTER OF WITHDRAWING OUT OF SYF.

3. Bind your rhythm books if you have not done so & write in the countings as well.
By now you should have your own set of Kaze No Mai & A Day at Disneyland scores.
Write in the bar numbers for Kaze No Mai.

4. Friday attire is band tee, bring your necessary stuffs. Report in the band room by 1pm.
Settle down by 1.15pm. See you guys. :)

#2 - Da Capo 2010.

Serene, Celine, Alicia, Zhi Qing, Sharon, Eddie, Jeremy, Bernard,

Bandsmen, the 16 of us went for Da Capo 2010 by NUS Wind Symphony yesterday. :)

Adding on, each and everyone of you have to go for at least 2 concerts every year.

#1 - Announcements.

Bandsmen,
1. Hand in your rhythms and articulation studies (KAZE NO MAI) to your SLs by Tuesday, 19 October 2010, if not SLs will have to bear the consequences. Please write in the counting for the rhythm if you have not done so. SLs will pass the studies to any of the top 4s.

2. For those who are going for the Hong Kong trip, meet the leaders this coming Tuesday, 19 October 2010 at the parade square straight after dismissal at 10.30am. Those who fail to attend, you'll have to bear your own consequences and also, all of you have to write a short paragraph of at least 50words of what you think the objectives are for the Hong Kong trip.
Don't try to be funny.

3. Tuesday practice will be cancelled due to graduation day, thus practice will resume on wednesday, 20th october 2010, 2.45pm. Settle down by 3pm with your pencils, journals, rhythm books and necessary stuffs. By now, your rhythm books should be binded. Please do not come late for any meetings or practices.

Let's strive for our gold medal! :)
