In the midst of Mid Year Examinations , although is a little too late but i would like to wish you guys the best of luck for your examinations . The photos up there are the photos taken during Annual Awards , i hope you guys truly enjoyed the music making process during Annual Awards , i believe many of you all did felt something right ? The polaroids do keep it as a memory as your seniors are leaving alright . We played very well for Annual Awards , do keep up the good work and work even harder for the next performance which is your CONBRIO II , although your sec fours most likely will not be there to perform do put in your utmost effort so as to be able to feel the sense of achievement . Treat each day of your band life as if it is your very last day in order to be able to enjoy the process of each band practice . 4 years isn't very long so i hope you guys will cherish each and very single moment in band . Whether hate or love , everyone still belong to beatty military band . The reputation , the sense of belonging , the glory & the warmth all starts with the bandsmen of BMB . After the examinations will the announcing of acting leaders under probation , whoever that takes over the positions of the exco doesn't matter . Work as a exco towards your common goal and be better than us , your seniors . Your destination doesn't end here , what about your SYF ? Strive towards G-O-L-D ! Hey Bandsmen ! Tomorrow is Annual Awards, excited ? (:
Sec 4s, tomorrow is your last performance, very last performance with the band, please
really, cherish whatever time is left with your bandmates . After tomorrow, it won't be long
till the day we officially pass out of band . The time left we have with the band is very
little, start cherishing every moment because every hour passed is an hour nearer for us to
leave the band . If you think you haven't done anything to help the band for the past 3 years,
make use of the rest of the time you have with the band and do something . Don't regret
anything, doing whatever you can is better than wasting your time . Let's put up our best
performance tomorrow, make it a memorable one . Jiayou and Goodluck Sec 4s ! :D

Sec 3s, you guys are going to step up as leaders soon . Please support each other, not just
your section mates, but the rest of the band too . Before you officially step up as leaders,
please ask your seniors for help and stuffs if you don't know how to do anything . Don't drag
it anymore . In future, your Sec 4s are not gonna perform with you anymore, so please be
more independant and start gaining confidence if you haven't do so ! Remember, you don't
need to be a leader to make a change in band . As long as you are determined to do help the
band to improve, you'll slowly influence everybody else . Good luck and work very hard ! (:

Sec 2s, you people may not feel anything for the Sec 4s leaving, but next year you'll be Sec
3s already . Please act like a senior and be a good example to your juniors. Be independant
and help the band improve ! Make tomorrow a memorable performance for your Sec 4 seniors
and cherish whatever time you have left with them . Work hard for SYF, any other
peformance, do what you think is right and have great sense of urgency ohkay ! Don't forget,
we all owe Mr Lum sense of urgency ! JIAYOU ! ^^

Sec 1s, 4 months in band already . I've taught you whatever i can afford to teach you in the
time i'm given . you guys are great, really . You may not feel anything about your Sec 4s
leaving but never, ever, forget what i taught you . Your respect for seniors, conductors and
teachers, discipline, 5 basic postures, your music theory, everything , please, don't forget
what i've taught you through this short period of time . Do what is right, like not crossing
your legs in band practices, nothing in your pocket and wrist when you're doing drills, stop
doing whatever you are doing when your conductors, seniors or teachers are talking to you.
Remember what i said before ? If you want others to respect you, you respect them first .
JIAYOU JUNIOR BAND , stop taking your own sweet time on things, and you guys owe me
sense of urgency too !

Don't just be at your best behavior tomorrow, be at your best behavior for all the band
practices ! JIAYOU BEATTY MILITARY BAND, remember to sit in your correct posture, stop
moving around and please stay focus ! FOLLOW YOUR CONDUCTOR, don't bury your head
in your score ! SENSE OF URGENCY and please keep quiet ! Cooperate with the leaders
and perform well ! Have a good rest today, bye ! (:

Hi Bandsmen ! The sec 4s are going to pass out soon, so please continue to work very
hard and bring Beatty Military Band to greater heights ! Sec 4s, we don't have much time
left, please do whatever you can to help the band now, so you don't regret later on,
cherish whatever time you have left with the band, and pass down your experiences
gained from the band to our fellow band mates . (:

This Thursday is Annual Awards, bandsmen, please have your SENSE OF URGENCY with you,
and be focus ! Follow your conductor and stay in the right POSTURE . Sit up straight,
eyes front . Do not bow or clap your hands at the end of the concert segment . :D

After that will be Mid-Year Exams, you guys reallllyyyyyyyyy have to work very very very
hard to get good grades ohkay ! Please don't waste one month's time and get bad grades,
if you're stressed up, maybe you can give yourself a break and practice your instruments ?

After Mid-year Exams, everybody must really work hard together, help each other and
get ready for our concert, Con Brio II ohkay ? We really don't have much time, so you really
have to practice really hard so as to not dissapoint the audience on 31/5 ! If you don't know
how to play anything or you think you need to improve on your timing on stuffs, intonation
and anything else, please , PLEASE APPROACH ME . And, don't leave everything
to tomorrow, like you don't know how to play one part and you go ," aiya nvm lah next time
then figure out . " CANNOT OHKAY, you don't have much time so if you find out there's
anything you don't know, quickly figure it out !

AND, don't keep practising those things that you know, at this rate, you'll never improve !
We have the ' Friends For Life ' score right? Please go and practice, if you don't know how it
sounds like, go and search on the net ! At the same time, you should go and brush up on your
other concert songs ohkay ? We really don't have much time, if you don't know, we only have
less than one month to get ready. If you don't feel the pressure now, SOMETHING'S WRONG !

ohkay that's all . Jiayou BMB, you can do it. Never give up and keep moving forward . (:

HELLO BANDSMEN ! It is the examinations period now right ? most of you must be studying very hard and stressed up about it . Just want to tell you all , do your best and make a change in your studies . You might not be able to meet your  aims and expectations but don't feel rejected . Handle this stress well and just a few more papers and you all are done with it !
Most of us or rather all of us have not been touching our instruments for really a long time already right ? Band will resume soon i hope ! there will be most likely a band camp from 23 - 25 november . So please do forward to it :)))) see you all soon !

Study hard and score well okay ! GOODLUCK ! We will all meet after exams , hope to see you guys ! Long time since the band gathered together already. Miss the band sound ? i bet everyone does right ! so do well for exams and we can all meet again ! SEE YOU GUYS !
